My Barbies won’t go back

Sometimes I go silly when they go weird.

Technical Barbie geek details: the blonde came with the wheelchair, she is no. 194. The Made to Move Curvy doll I am using in the wheelchair as my mini-me is this little cutie. I’m going to eventually root some gray hair in with her red. Her clothes, including her Boston University sweatshirt (‘94, represent) and the perfect Converse, are handmade by Etsy creators. The hippie’s shoes are handmade Etsy; the dress is Barbie brand.

This dress was inspired by one of Mom’s; she loved this style, both long and short, when she was a hippie. Picture included from her pregnancy with me for comparison.

This silliness of which I speak? Campaign posters for Harris/Walz. Really brighten up the place. Never lose your sense of play, folks.

This is my mini-me, Clara, anagram for Carla. The pink thingy is her wheelchair ramp.

This is my hippie, Sunshine. Clara hangs with my horror movie shelf, Sunshine lounges on my writing desk. Yes, Sunshine is perched on Chekhov. She likes discussing Eastern literature when she is a little baked.
